157 UFAZ Students Graduate
On June 23, the Graduation Day 2026 ceremony of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) was held at the Baku Crystal Hall. Alongside ASOIU graduates, students of the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) also celebrated their graduation in a solemn ceremony.
This year, 123 students graduated from UFAZ at the bachelor's level. Of these, 45 were female and 78 were male students. At the master's level, 34 students successfully completed their studies, including 13 female and 21 male graduates.
It should be noted that 21 of UFAZ’s master's graduates are currently undertaking industrial internships in France as part of the final semester of the 2025/2026 academic year.
During the official part of the ceremony, Associate Professor Rufat Azizov, Rector of ASOIU, Idris Isayev, Deputy Minister of Science and Education, Tahir Budaqov, Deputy Chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP), Farid Gayibov, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli, BP Vice President for Communications and External Affairs for the Caspian Region, addressed the graduates, congratulating them and wishing them success in their future academic and professional endeavors.
The ceremony continued with the recognition of students who distinguished themselves through outstanding academic achievements and active participation throughout their studies. Special gifts were presented to the award recipients, among whom were UFAZ graduates.
One of the most memorable moments of the event was the traditional tossing of graduation caps into the air. This symbolic gesture marked the graduates’ farewell to student life and their transition into a new chapter of their lives.
Following the official ceremony, the celebration continued with an entertainment program. Members of the UFAZ Music Club took to the stage with live musical performances, becoming some of the most active participants of the event.
