7 UFAZ Students Selected for the "Stipendium Hungaricum" Scholarship Program

The winners of the “Stipendium Hungaricum” program for 2024-2026, established through an agreement between the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, have been announced. A total of 130 Azerbaijani citizens have earned the opportunity to pursue their studies at 15 prestigious universities in Hungary for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Among the selected candidates, 9 will pursue undergraduate studies, 106 will be enrolled in master’s programs, and 15 will begin their doctoral education. The scholarship recipients will study across various fields including economics, business and management, engineering, information technologies, natural sciences, tourism, international relations, education, and sustainable development.

UFAZ students Laman Bandiyeva, Samira Hasanova, Zahid Gadirov, and Avaz Rustamov, studying Geosciences and Geophysical Engineering; Murad Ganbarli and Nijat Zeynalli, from Computer Science; and Gular Abbasli, studying Chemical Engineering, are among the distinguished recipients of this prestigious scholarship.

The scholarship holders will continue their academic journey at renowned institutions such as Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Corvinus University of Budapest, University of Debrecen, Budapest Business School, Óbuda University, and others.
