A Meeting Was Held with Students Participating in the Strasbourg Summer School
On June 18, Associate Professor Vazeh Asgarov, Executive Director of the French Azerbaijani University (UFAZ), met with students who will participate in the Summer School in France. During the meeting, the students were informed about the upcoming program and their questions were answered.
Assoc. Prof. Vazeh Asgarov encouraged the participants to make the most of the educational and scientific environment in France, acquire new knowledge and skills, and become closely acquainted with different cultures. The Executive Director also emphasized the importance of students actively representing both UFAZ and Azerbaijan throughout the program and wished them success.
This year, 41 students from the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) will travel to France as part of the traditional Summer School program. The program will bring together second- and third-year students who have achieved high academic performance during their studies.
The two-week Summer School will be held at the modern student campus of the University of Strasbourg (Unistra) in France. The program will provide participants with an opportunity to become familiar with an international academic environment, improve their French language skills, and gain new educational experiences.
As part of the Summer School, students will take part in language courses, conversation clubs, and practical sessions in the university’s scientific and educational laboratories. In addition, participants will visit Strasbourg’s historical and cultural landmarks and become acquainted with the city’s rich heritage.
Among the students participating in this year’s Summer School are 14 students from the Computer Science program, 10 from Chemical Engineering, 7 from Geology, Geophysics, Georesources, 7 from Petroleum Engineering & Reservoir Geology, and 3 from Chemistry.
It should be noted that the Summer School, organized annually at UFAZ, supports students’ academic and personal development while helping them become familiar with an international educational environment and gain valuable experience for their future careers.
