ASOIU and UFAZ teams joined the "Protect the Caspian" campaign

On September 24, a coastal cleaning was held on the Shikh beach of the Caspian Sea with the participation of faculty members and students of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) and the French-Azerbaijan University (UFAZ).

In the event organized within the framework of "International Maritime Day" and "Caspian Week" with the participation of Vice-Rector of ASOIU, Associate Professor Vazeh Askarov and the leadership of UFAZ, nearly 2 hectares of land on the Caspian coastline were cleaned of solid household and other types of waste. It was to remind participants that the protection of the environment, including the Caspian Sea, nature protection is the main duty of everyone. The slogan of the event was"Let's protect the Caspian, let's protect nature".

It should be noted that every year in September in our country, various mass environmental events are organized under the name of "International Sea Day" and "Caspian Week". The goal is to protect the ecological purity of the sea, including the environment, to protect its resources and to constantly educate the public about it.
