Collaboration Opportunities Between UFAZ and the Oil and Gas Institute Discussed

A meeting was held at the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) with Professor Vaqif Gurbanov, Executive Director of the Oil and Gas Institute, and a delegation from the institute. The meeting was attended by Associate Professor Vazeh Asgarov, Executive Director of UFAZ, as well as representatives from the University’s Education Department.

During the discussion, both institutions explored ways to further develop their existing cooperation, implement new projects, and identify future areas of collaboration. Key topics included field and industrial internships, organizing a summer school for students, hosting joint conferences, and conducting collaborative research projects involving faculty and researchers from both institutions.

It was noted that each year, dozens of UFAZ students participate in industrial internships at the Oil and Gas Institute. This practice helps students enhance their theoretical knowledge with practical skills, strengthen their professional preparation, and take confident steps toward their future careers.

The meeting concluded with productive exchanges of ideas, and both sides expressed optimism about launching new initiatives in the future.
