"Heydar Aliyev 100: Engineering Hackathon"

On October 14-15, New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) and the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University organized The "Heydar Aliyev 100: Engineering Hackathon" intellectual competition at the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ)

30 teams from 21 universities participated in the intellectual competition dedicated to the memory of the National Leader. 27 teams proposed solutions to the tasks given in the field of "Ecology and Environment", "Transportation and Logistics", "Innovation and Technology" in front of both technical and business jury.

Samer El Zant, UFAZ Computer Science Program Coordinator in the technical part, Ramil Shukurov, Head teacher of the Department of Process Automation Engineering at Baku Higher Oil School, Elviz Ismayilov, Coordinator of the "Easy Start" startup and innovation center, Jasur Hasanov, Head of the UFAZ Innovation Center, Bakhtiyar Islamov Chairman of YAP Youth Union, Rauf Jabarov Deputy Chairman of Association of Cyber Security Organizations of Azerbaijan and Eldar Babayev, Head of Artificial Intelligence Department of "Digital Umbrella" in the business category evaluated the proposed solutions.

The results of the intellectual competition in which 120 students participated will be announced at the official event on October 21 at the Heydar Aliyev Center with the theme "Respect for the past, faith in the future: modern Azerbaijani youth benefiting from the legacy of Heydar Aliyev".
