International UFAZ Conference 2025 Successfully Concluded!

Organized by ASOIU and UFAZ, and sponsored by SOCAR Polymer, the UFAZ International Conference 2025, dedicated to chemistry, process, and materials science, was held from June 3 to 5 and has now come to a successful close. The three-day event brought together renowned scientists, researchers, educators, and students from Singapore, India, Italy, Germany, France, Japan, and Azerbaijan.

On the first day, three keynote speakers and ten presenters shared the results of their scientific research. Each talk attracted significant attention and was followed by a Q&A session. A musical performance was also presented by the UFAZ Music Club for the distinguished guests.

The second day featured four keynote speakers and ten presenters, who delivered talks on the role of chemistry in bridging academia and industry. Following the lectures by professors and invited guests, a poster session was held where young researchers presented their projects.

On the final day, four more keynote speakers and six presenters gave talks focused on global challenges and answered questions from the audience. Alongside the main sessions, a panel discussion was held with representatives from SOCAR Polymer, Holcim, and bp, as well as the keynote speakers.

After all presentations concluded on June 5, the conference’s closing ceremony took place. Professor Christophe Serra from the University of Strasbourg highlighted the successful execution of the event and expressed gratitude to the guests, participants, and organizers. Certificates were awarded to standout speakers and poster presenters, as well as to the volunteers who actively supported the event.

At the end of the conference a group photo was taken to commemorate the occasion.
