Our Alumni won State Program Scholarship

Sakina Mammadova, UFAZ Alumni, won the 2019-2023 State Program Scholarship and will be pursuing her PhD studies in Chemistry at the Charles Sadron Institute of the University of Strasbourg.

Sakina graduated from UFAZ in 2022 with a master's degree in Physical Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. After completing her studies, she worked as a Chemistry Laboratory Assistant at UFAZ. Her PhD research topic is about " Hydrophilic and Tumor targeting – Covalently modified upconversion nano-particles for diagnostic applications" and is related to the field of cancer control. Sakina will be working under the scientific supervision of Professor Dr. Delfine Chang-Seng of the University of Strasbourg and Unistra Professor as well as Research Expert and Chemistry Program Coordinator of UFAZ, Christophe Serra.
