Staff meeting of the new academic year at UFAZ

On September 8, on the occasion of starting the new academic year, a staff meeting took place at French-Azerbaijani University. Greeting the staff, ASOIU Acting Rector, Associate Professor Vazeh Asgarov thanked the teachers and administrative staff for the achievements made in the past year.

He highlighted that as a result of the last academic year, 65 UFAZ bachelor graduates will continue their studies at the master's level in prestigious universities abroad starting this semester. 24 of them are winners of the 2022-2026 State Program Scholarship of the Republic of Azerbaijan. 14 UFAZ master graduates will pursue their education at the doctoral level. 9 of the doctoral students won the 2019-2023 State Program Scholarship.

Vazeh Askarov highly appreciated UFAZ admission exam results of this year. All 160 governmental-based places were filled.

Emphasizing the successes of our students during the year, he specially noted the hard work of the professors of UFAZ, both local and invited ones from the University of Strasbourg.

Currently, 87 local teachers and employees work at UFAZ. At the same time, more than 130 invited teachers and professors from France teach during the year.

General Secretary of UFAZ Elizaveta Bydanova and Head of Education Department Latifa Nasibova expressed their expectations in the teaching, research and academic field in the new academic year and wished success to the team.
