From April 9 to 22, Associate Professor Dr. Dunya Babanli, researcher and faculty member at the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ), was on a scientific mission in Strasbourg and Nancy, France.

During the visit, Dr. Babanli held meetings with UFAZ doctoral students enrolled in a joint PhD program under international cooperation between UFAZ, the University of Strasbourg, and the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS). She received updates on their scientific and practical activities.

Dr. Babanli also took part in hands-on research at the “Nanostructured Magnetic Materials” laboratory of the Institute of Physics and Chemistry of Materials (IPCMS), collaborating with Dr. Bohdan Kundys and joint PhD candidate Fuad Safarov. Together, they reviewed the research outcomes achieved during the doctoral student’s stay in France and outlined future steps for the project.

In Nancy, Dr. Babanli visited several research laboratories at CNRS’s Jean Lamour Institute, accompanied by Dr. Vileno Bertrand, Dr. Nathalie Parizel, and Prof. Philippe Turek, the former director of the Molecular Materials Optical and Magnetic Properties (POMAM) research center. The main purpose of the visit was to conduct negotiations for establishing joint collaboration.
