Training on the Newly Installed Shimadzu ICP-MS System Held for ASOIU and UFAZ Staff
A four-day training program on the newly installed Shimadzu ICP-MS system has been successfully completed at the educational laboratories building of the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ). The training was organized for teachers, laboratory assistants, and technical staff working in the laboratories of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) and UFAZ.
As part of the training, participants were provided with comprehensive theoretical knowledge about the operating principles, application areas, and daily operation procedures of the ICP-MS system. In addition, during the practical sessions, participants became closely familiar with the use of the instrument, sample preparation, analysis processes, calibration stages, and maintenance procedures.
It should be noted that the modern Shimadzu ICP-MS system enables highly accurate analysis of metal and non-metal elements at ultra-trace concentrations. The instrument is expected to be widely used in environmental monitoring, water quality assessment, geochemistry, materials science, and other scientific research fields.
