Two UFAZ Students Selected as Winners of the Azercell Scholarship Program

Two Computer Science students from the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) have been named winners of the prestigious Student Scholarship Program 2026 announced by Azercell Telecom LLC.

In total, more than 1,460 applications were submitted this year for the program implemented by Azercell, one of the country's leading companies in the field of digital transformation and telecommunications. Only 15 students who successfully passed the three-stage selection process were able to join the list of winners. Among the 15 selected, UFAZ students Asiman Ismayilova and Elnur Haqverdiyev were also included.

The main goal of the program is to support the professional development of talented youth with high academic results and to strengthen the human resource potential in the technological field in the country.

Within the framework of the program, the students have gained the following opportunities:

• Monthly scholarship support until the end of their education period;
• Enhancement of practical knowledge in the field of telecommunications and modern technologies;
• Familiarization with career opportunities and professional internship programs within the company.
