UFAZ 2025 Graduate Won Prestigious Swedish Institute Scholarship

Agil Zakariya, a graduate of the “Computer Science” program at the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ), has been awarded the Swedish Institute Scholarship for Global Professionals (SISGP) to pursue his master’s studies in Sweden. The SISGP is a highly competitive, fully-funded scholarship granted to outstanding global professionals who demonstrate leadership potential and a commitment to sustainable development.

This year, only 22 candidates from Azerbaijan were selected, and Agil Zakariya is the sole recipient from UFAZ. The scholarship covers full tuition, a monthly living allowance, and provides access to a global network of professionals, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.

Zakariya will pursue a master’s in Technology-based Entrepreneurship at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, ranked among the world’s top 100 universities. We congratulate him on this achievement and wish him every success in his studies and future endeavors.
