UFAZ Alumna Selected for Prestigious Equinor Scholarship Program

Aysel Sadigova, a graduate of the Geosciences and Geophysical Engineering program at the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ), has been awarded a prestigious scholarship by Equinor, Norway’s state-owned oil and gas company.

Aysel will continue her education at IFP School (Institut Français du Pétrole), a renowned French institution specializing in energy, oil and gas, chemical engineering, and sustainable development. Within the framework of the Subsurface Technologies for Sustainable Energies master’s program, she will deepen her knowledge and skills in geosciences and reservoir engineering, preparing to contribute as a qualified expert to the global energy transition.

Her tuition fees will be fully covered by the Equinor scholarship throughout the study period. Additionally, she will have the opportunity to complete a 6-month professional internship at Equinor, during which we believe she will further enhance her field expertise and apply her innovative ideas in practice.
