UFAZ Graduate Awarded the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship
Rufat Samadzade, a 2026 graduate of the Chemical Engineering program at the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ), has been selected as a recipient of the prestigious Stipendium Hungaricum international scholarship, funded by the Government of Hungary.
The Stipendium Hungaricum is an international scholarship programme established by the Hungarian Government, offering students from around the world the opportunity to pursue bachelor's, master's and doctoral studies at leading higher education institutions in Hungary. The scholarship covers full tuition fees and provides a monthly stipend, accommodation support and health insurance. The programme aims to strengthen international academic cooperation and contribute to the development of highly qualified professionals.
Under the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, 104 Azerbaijani citizens have been awarded the opportunity to study at prestigious Hungarian higher education institutions for the 2026/2027 academic year. Among them, 11 students will pursue bachelor's degrees, 80 will study at the master's level, and 13 will undertake doctoral studies. The recipients will study in priority fields including computer science, data science, international relations, finance, management, chemical engineering and other disciplines.
