UFAZ Held an Educational Session on Electronic Security in the Artificial Intelligence Era
An event on “Artificial Intelligence and Protection of Personal Data” was organized at the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) by the Electronic Security Service (ESS) and the National Artificial Intelligence Center (NAIC). The purpose of the event was to inform participants about the basics of artificial intelligence, its application areas, ethical approaches, and the protection of personal data in the digital environment.
In the first part of the event, Ozcan Hasanov, AI Product Owner at the NAIC, delivered a speech and provided information about the basic concepts of this technology, the structure of the AI ecosystem, and its application areas. Additionally, career opportunities in the field of artificial intelligence were brought to the attention of the participants.
In the second session of the event, Khayala Babayeva, Head of the Personal Data Protection Sector of the ESS, and Rauf Ibishov, AI Engineer at the NAIC, delivered speeches. They provided information on ethical principles in artificial intelligence, the legal framework for the protection of personal data, and regulations in this field. At the same time, the risks created by deepfake technologies, their potential impacts, and the importance of a responsible approach to digital security were emphasized.
