UFAZ Presents Academic Excellence Certificates to Scholarship Recipients

On October 27, the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) held a ceremony to present Academic Excellence certificates to the recipients of the “Movsum bey Khanlarov” and “Eyyub Taghiyev” scholarships awarded by the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU). The ceremony recognized students who achieved outstanding academic results in their respective study programs.

A total of 14 undergraduate students from five programs were awarded the “Movsum bey Khanlarov” Scholarship. Among the recipients, three study Computer Science, three Geology, Geosciences and Georesources, three Chemical Engineering, three Petroleum Engineering and Reservoir Geology, and two Chemistry. Each scholarship recipient will receive a monthly financial stipend of 200 AZN to support their continued academic progress and encourage further achievement.

The “Eyyub Taghiyev” Scholarship was awarded to 30 master's students across four study programs. Of these, 11 study Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, eight Physical Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, seven Geosciences, and four Water Resources and Management. Each recipient will receive a monthly stipend of 250 AZN.

These initiatives play an important role in recognizing academic achievement at UFAZ, supporting talented students, and encouraging high academic standards. In addition to contributing to students' academic development, the scholarship programs also support their social well-being.
