UFAZ Hosts Another Open Day Dedicated to Undergraduate Programs
The French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) welcomed prospective students and their parents to another Open Day dedicated to its undergraduate programs.
The event began with a guided tour of the university’s modern facilities. Visitors had the opportunity to explore UFAZ’s laboratories and learning spaces equipped according to European standards and received detailed information about practical training activities and research opportunities available at the university.
During the official part of the event, UFAZ Executive Director, Associate Professor Vazeh Asgarov, spoke about the university’s development over the past ten years, its international partnerships, and the opportunities it offers to students.
Participants were then introduced to the UFAZ educational model, its partner institutions, the advantages of the double diploma system, and its research activities. The presentation highlighted the benefits of project-based and practice-oriented learning in supporting students’ professional development. Detailed information was also provided on the admission requirements and registration process for the 2026-2027 academic year.
The event continued with presentations from UFAZ graduates and current students who shared their academic and professional experiences. Oruj Bayramov, a graduate of the Oil and Gas Engineering program and currently employed at Oliver Wyman, spoke about his educational journey, the professional skills he acquired during his studies, and his international experience. Fidan Allahverdiyeva, a student of the Computer Science program, provided insights into student life at UFAZ, student clubs, project work, and the advantages of practice-oriented courses.
During the interactive question-and-answer session, participants raised questions regarding admission procedures, educational opportunities, the double diploma program, and future career prospects.
The Open Day concluded with an engaging and interactive program organized together with students. Members of the Student Council, Gunay Ashrafova and Nadir Azizov, conducted a series of interactive games and activities, with prizes presented to winners and active participants.
