UFAZ Hosts Final Open Day for Undergraduate Programmes
The French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) hosted its final Open Day for prospective undergraduate students and their parents.
In the opening remarks, UFAZ Executive Director, Associate Professor Vazeh Asgarov, spoke about the university's development over the past decade, its international partnerships, and the academic and professional opportunities available to students.
Participants were then introduced to UFAZ's undergraduate programmes, educational model, international partnerships, dual-degree advantage, and admission process. The presentation also highlighted the benefits of UFAZ's project and practice-based learning approach for students' professional development, while providing detailed information on the admission requirements and application process for the 2026/2027 academic year.
The event continued with presentations by UFAZ's 2026 graduates, who shared their academic and personal experiences with prospective students. Eldar Hasanov, a graduate of the Computer Science programme, spoke about the knowledge and skills he gained at UFAZ, the projects he participated in, and how the university contributed to his professional development. Javidan Nasirli, a graduate of the Chemical Engineering programme, shared his experience throughout his studies, highlighting the importance of laboratory work, practical training, and the benefits of studying in UFAZ's international environment.
During the interactive Q&A session, prospective students and their parents asked questions about the admission process, scholarship opportunities, the double state diploma, student life, and future career prospects.
