UFAZ Master’s Students in Water Resources and Management Participated in Another Fieldwork

Students of the Master’s program in Water Resources and Management at the French Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) participated in a field trip as part of the practical component of the educational process.

As part of the visit, the students went to the Hovsan Aeration Station located in the southern part of the Absheron Peninsula. This visit provided students with a clearer understanding of how the system that treats the majority of wastewater generated in the Absheron Peninsula is designed and operates.

During the practical training, students gained detailed information about the main stages of wastewater treatment, such as mechanical and biological treatment processes, aeration processes, sedimentation, and disinfection.

At the same time, they became familiar with the technologies and equipment used in real production environments, thereby strengthening their theoretical knowledge in practice.
