Elgun Hasanov, a 4th-year student majoring in Computer Science at French-Azerbaijani University, will continue his academic journey as a research intern at the prestigious FEMTO-ST Institute in France.

Elgun’s work in the fields of artificial intelligence and deep learning will be carried out within the DISC department (Département Informatique des Systèmes Complexes) and the AND team (Algorithmique Numérique Distribuée) of the institute.

FEMTO-ST is one of France's leading scientific centers, known for its interdisciplinary approach in science and engineering. The institute places strong emphasis on both theoretical and applied research, collaborating closely with France’s National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), industrial partners, and various European programs.

The DISC department and the AND team focus on areas such as modeling and simulation of complex systems, distributed systems, algorithmic efficiency and optimization, artificial intelligence, data processing, and control systems.

This research opportunity was made possible under the supervision of Professor Raphaël Couturier from the University of Franche-Comté. Nahla El Zant also played a significant role in supporting Elgun’s development as a researcher.

We wish Elgun Hasanov great success in his future professional endeavors and hope that his research will bring valuable contributions to society!
