UFAZ Students Achieve Outstanding Results in the International Chemistry Competition (IChC)
Students of the Chemical Engineering program at the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) have achieved remarkable success in the International Chemistry Competition (IChC), receiving awards at both the international and national levels. In the Final Round of the competition, which brought together approximately 4,500 participants from different countries around the world, UFAZ students ranked among the strongest participants from Azerbaijan.
Farid Guliyev ranked among the top 3% of all participants based on the final results of the competition. For his performance in the Final Round, he was awarded the Silver Honour distinction and, as the highest-ranked participant from Azerbaijan, received the 1st National Award Azerbaijan.
Zaur Zeynalli also demonstrated an excellent performance in the competition. He ranked among the top 5% of all participants and received the Silver Honour distinction in the Final Round. In addition, Zaur Zeynalli was recognized among the highest-performing participants from Azerbaijan and was awarded the 2nd National Award Azerbaijan.
Susan Umarova ranked among the top 7% of participants worldwide. For her achievement in the Final Round, she received the Silver Honour distinction and was also awarded the 3rd National Award Azerbaijan.
It should be noted that the International Chemistry Competition (IChC) is a prestigious scientific competition that provides students interested in chemistry with an opportunity to test their theoretical knowledge and problem-solving skills in an international environment. The Final Round is conducted in the form of an online examination designed to assess participants’ chemistry knowledge.
We congratulate UFAZ students on this achievement and wish them further success in their future endeavors.
