UFAZ Students Among the Winners of the Innovation and Artificial Intelligence Scholarship Program

Four students of the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) have been selected among the first winners of the Innovation and Artificial Intelligence Scholarship Program, implemented through the joint partnership of the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Bakcell.

The program aims to contribute to the development of the country's innovation ecosystem, enhance young people's knowledge and skills in technology, and support the formation of a competitive human capital base. A total of 1851 applications were submitted to the scholarship program, and participants demonstrated their knowledge and potential throughout several selection stages. In the initial phase, 25 young people successfully completed the selection process and were awarded the scholarship.

Among the winners are Tayfun Kazimov, a student of UFAZ’s Petroleum Engineering C Reservoir Geology program, and Fidan Allahverdiyeva, Valiyaddin Aliyev and Ravan Alipashayev, students of the Computer Science program.

Within the framework of the scholarship program, participants will gain practical knowledge and skills in artificial intelligence, data analytics, programming, software development, and UI/UX design. They will also work on real-life projects and acquire valuable experience in the professions of the future.
