UFAZ Students Are Participating in Internships at Leading Companies

Undergraduate and graduate students of the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) are currently participating in industrial internships as part of the Spring semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. A total of 130 undergraduate and 51 graduate students are enhancing their knowledge and skills through internship programs at various prominent companies and institutions.
Students are gaining hands-on experience and deepening their understanding of different sectors at reputable organizations such as Azercosmos, SOCAR Downstream, AzerGold, Simbrella, SLB, JOCAP, TOTAL Energies, Holcim, NORM, UBOC, Pasha Insurance, the Oil and Gas Institute of ANAS, Caspian Geomatics, Kapital Bank, Caspian GEO LLC, the Artificial Intelligence Lab, and the Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry. These internships provide them with valuable opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge in practice, explore project and risk management, and engage with real-world challenges.
Moreover, 19 students are taking part in prestigious international internship programs, gaining hands-on experience at leading scientific research laboratories in France.
Throughout the internship period, students work under the supervision of industry professionals, gaining exposure to real work environments. They are able to test their academic knowledge, acquire practical skills, and develop competencies in problem-solving, teamwork, organizational discipline, and process management.
The primary aim of these internships is to support students’ personal and professional development, while also preparing them to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving job market and adapt to emerging industry trends.
