The Animal Care Club of the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) organized a student visit to the IDEA Animal Care Center.

During the visit, students were informed about the center’s establishment, its core objectives, and the values it promotes within society. Real-life cases were shared to illustrate how stray animals are brought to the center, and students were briefed on the common forms of violence these animals face on the streets.

The students also learned about the veterinary care provided to the animals at the center and how their daily lives are managed. They were educated on the importance of responsible pet ownership and the proper ways to care for domestic animals.

After the introduction, students had the opportunity to spend time with the animals, play with them, observe their living conditions, and learn about their health statuses. They explored the various facilities designed for the four-legged residents, including the veterinary clinic, dog and cat shelters, separate quarantine units, adoption area, pet hotel and grooming salon, and the play area.

It was highlighted that the clinic serves both stray and owned animals. Stray animals are sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped, and kept in full readiness for adoption by potential owners.

This visit, which emphasized the importance of compassionate and humane treatment of animals, proved to be an engaging and educational experience for UFAZ students.
