UFAZ Students Participate in the SOCAR Upstream Management International Bootcamp

Students of the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ), Kamila Rahimova, Nuru Gasimov, and Timur Zuyev, have successfully completed the SOCAR Upstream Management International Bootcamp.

Designed for engineering students specialising in the oil and gas industry, the intensive programme featured a series of technical and soft-skills sessions delivered by SOCAR engineers, industry professionals, and experienced mentors. In addition to exploring various aspects of the oil and gas industry, participants developed essential skills in communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and professional development.

As part of the programme, participants also had the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the operations of companies working in the energy sector. During a visit to Bahar Energy Operating Company, the students learned about the company’s operations, values, and role in the oil and gas industry, while gaining a better understanding of how the theoretical knowledge acquired during the bootcamp is applied in a real-world professional environment.

In the final stage of the programme, participants worked in teams to prepare presentations on a range of industry-related topics. Applying the knowledge and skills gained throughout the bootcamp, the students presented their final projects to the SOCAR CEO and Technical Directors, receiving valuable feedback and recommendations from experienced industry leaders.
