UFAZ Students’ Startup Selected for the Startup School 4 Global Innovation Program

The “Astem” team, consisting of students from the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ), has been selected to participate in the Startup School 4: Five Continents – 500 Startups global innovation program, organized under the initiative of the Enterprise Azerbaijan portal of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.

Bringing together innovators, startups, mentors, and investors from around the world, the program spans five continents and aims to foster international collaboration, promote knowledge and experience exchange, and support startups in their integration into global markets. Teams selected from among the applicants gain access to training and mentoring programs led by international experts, as well as opportunities to connect with investors and further develop their projects.

The “Astem” startup, developed by UFAZ students Isa Ibadov, Aysel Sardarova, Shargiyya Gafarzade, Shukur Shukurov, Rufat Jabrayilli, and Ziya Aliyev, focuses on creating innovative solutions in the fields of green energy and sustainability. The international experience, mentorship support, and networking opportunities provided through the program will help the team further enhance and advance their project.

As part of the Startup School 4 program, participants will have the opportunity to collaborate with representatives of innovation ecosystems from different parts of the world, establish connections with investors, and present their projects to an international audience.
