UFAZ Teacher Gulnaz Gahramanova Conducted a Research Visit to the Vienna University of Technology
Gulnaz Gahramanova, a physics teacher at the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ), conducted a scientific visit to the prestigious Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien) in Austria from March 23 to 26. As part of the visit, she was a guest of the research group led by Professor Bernhard C. Bayer and closely explored the advanced scientific equipment and work processes at the university's 2D+Materials laboratory.
During the meetings, the main focus was on two-dimensional materials and the application of their hybrids in modern technologies. Gulnaz Gahramanova also delivered a seminar at the university, providing detailed information about the scientific activities of both UFAZ and ASOIU, which she represents, as well as her own research on InGaN quantum wells and multi-walled carbon nanotubes. At the same time, she shared her research experience on MXenes conducted at the A.J. Drexel Nanomaterials Institute in the USA with her Austrian colleagues.
At the end of the visit, productive discussions were held regarding future joint scientific projects and the expansion of inter-university cooperation.
