Since 2021, the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) has been organizing international conferences across various scientific fields. Covering areas such as chemistry, process engineering, earth sciences, computer science, artificial intelligence, and sustainability, these events provide a platform for knowledge exchange among both young and experienced researchers.
The annual conferences promote international scientific collaboration through keynote lectures, parallel sessions, poster presentations, and roundtable discussions. Artificial Intelligence for Digital Transformations (AIDT 2026)
The conference, taking place on June 22-24, 2026, aims to explore how artificial intelligence drives digital transformation in industry and society, as well as its role in automation, decision-making, and fostering innovation.
The event will bring together field experts, providing a platform for AI applications and knowledge exchange. AIDT 2026 is organized through a collaborative effort of the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ), Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), University of Strasbourg (UNISTRA), and INSA Rouen Normandie, with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

International UFAZ Conference: Chemistry, Process, and Materials (CPM 2025)
The three-day event on June 3-5, 2025, dedicated to chemistry, process, and materials sciences, brought together international and local scholars, professors, industry leaders, as well as educators, young researchers, and students.
The conference featured keynote speeches, poster sessions, and presentations by experts from Azerbaijan and around the world. It successfully fulfilled its mission to promote scientific collaboration, showcase innovative research, and engage participants through comprehensive sessions, networking opportunities, and academic discussions.

Caspian Basin in Transition Conference: Bridging Geosciences and Environmental Challenges (2024)
The conference held on June 3-6, 2024, brought together leading experts and researchers from around the world to discuss innovative approaches in earth sciences during the energy transition.
Over the four-day event, keynote lectures, oral presentations, and poster sessions took place, along with roundtable discussions on geo-resources, geo-hazards, climate resilience, and sustainability in the Caspian Sea region.

Complex Computing Ecosystems (CCE 2023)
The conference held on April 25-27, 2023, was jointly organized by UFAZ, ASOIU, UNISTRA, and CS-DC UNESCO UniTwin. This three-day international event focused on advancing transdisciplinary research in computational ecosystems.
The conference offered both online and in-person participation, promoting global scientific collaboration. Selected papers were published in Springer’s Lecture Notes in Computer Science series.

1st UFAZ-ASOIU-UNISTRA Scientific Conference (2021)
On November 30 – December 1, 2021, UFAZ organized its first joint conference with ASOIU and UNISTRA. The opening lecture was delivered by Nobel Prize laureate, Professor Jean-Marie Lehn from the University of Strasbourg (UNISTRA).
The program, consisting of three parallel sessions, covered UFAZ’s main teaching and research areas. Both young and experienced researchers participated, and the presentations were held in a hybrid format, combining online and in-person attendance.
