Career Center

The French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ), operating under the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), became a full member of the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) in 2020. At the initiative of AUF, the UFAZ Career Center has been operating since June 2022. The activities of the UFAZ Career Center cover a number of key areas, including the following:

Career Consultations

During individual sessions, career options are explored, goals are set, and action plans are developed.
In the CV/resume review process, application materials for jobs and internships are refined and improved.
During mock interviews, interview skills are practiced and enhanced.
Through career assessments and personality tests, applicants’ strengths, interests, and career preferences are identified and clarified.

Job and Internship Support

Recommendations and resources are provided to help students find job and internship opportunities.
Collaboration with employers is carried out to ensure applicants’ successful employment.

Skills Development Trainings

Workshops, training sessions, and technical trainings are conducted to enhance both technical and soft skills.
Medical awareness sessions are also organized.

Networking and Employer Engagement

Networking events, collaboration meetings with companies, and annual career fairs are organized.
The Center collaborates with over 100 local and international companies and organizations, including SLB, BP, Technip Energies, Total, and Halliburton.
Mentorship, consultation, and networking opportunities are provided between students and alumni.

Career Fairs

Since 2021, an annual Career Fair has been held at UFAZ. These fairs feature participation from various local and international companies, offering students and alumni opportunities for jobs and internships. Both UFAZ and ASOIU students have the chance to meet companies directly, explore career options, and establish professional connections.
