UFAZ will Host a Research Seminar on the Connection Between Artificial Intelligence and Human Intelligence
About event
On April 30th, the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) will host a research seminar titled “Beyond Attention: Engineering the Mind as a Complex System,” led by Dr. Rabih Amhaz, an artificial intelligence researcher and strategist. The event is intended for students, researchers, and professionals interested in artificial intelligence, neuroscience, and human-centered technologies.
Within the framework of the seminar, the modeling of cognitive processes as a complex and dynamic system through multimodal deep learning will be explored. During the presentation, it will be explained how artificial intelligence can move beyond attention algorithms to model human cognition through perception, behavior, and environmental context. This lecture will bridge the gap between artificial intelligence and neuroscience, shedding light on the future of cognitive-aware interfaces and a new generation of intelligent machines.
Dr. Rabih Amhaz leads applied artificial intelligence research at Icam Strasbourg Europe and is an associate professor at the University of Strasbourg. He specializes in human-centered artificial intelligence systems that combine computer vision, sensor data, and machine learning. Dr. Amhaz is also an international consultant on industrial digital transformation and artificial intelligence strategies. A specialist with over 20 years of experience, he has obtained a doctoral degree in engineering sciences.
We invite you to this interesting seminar to discuss the future possibilities of artificial intelligence!
