UFAZ recently held a meeting with the British Council to discuss matters related to Transnational Education (TNE). Recognizing UFAZ as a pioneer university in this field, the British Council has commissioned a feasibility and mapping research study to thoroughly examine the current TNE landscape in Azerbaijan. This study will explore associated opportunities and barriers, and the renowned global education company, Times Higher Education (THE), has been selected to conduct this insightful research.

THE consultancy, specializing in TNE and internationalization, stands ready to support universities and governments in transforming their internationalization agendas.

One notable outcome of the collaboration is the upcoming Transnational Education Policy Forum, organized by the British Council in partnership with the State Agency for Science and Higher Education. The forum aims to promote TNE in Azerbaijan and strengthen educational ties between Azerbaijan and the UK. Relevant representatives from UFAZ have been invited to attend this face-to-face event, scheduled for January 26.
