About the Program
The Computer Science program encompasses the study of computing systems, algorithms, and problem-solving. This field goes beyond merely acquiring programming skills; it delves into how data is structured, how algorithms are designed and analyzed, and how systems are created to solve real-world problems. Computer science combines logic, mathematics, and creative thinking, promotes automation, and drives technological advancement. Its applications span all areas of modern life, from medicine and biology to entertainment, finance, and engineering.
UFAZ’s Computer Science program is developed in collaboration with the University of Strasbourg and is taught based on an internationally recognized curriculum. Students receive comprehensive education in subjects such as mathematics, physics, and logic, and gain knowledge and skills in areas including artificial intelligence, software engineering, cybersecurity, data science, and computer systems.
Graduates of this program receive diplomas from both the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) and the University of Strasbourg (UNISTRA).
