A Commemoration Ceremony Dedicated to National Leader Haydar Aliyev Held at UFAZ

On December 9, a commemoration ceremony dedicated to the memory of National Leader Haydar Aliyev was held at the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ). The event participants first honored the cherished memory of the great leader with a minute of silence, followed by the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Head of the Organizational Department of the Central Office of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Ahliman Taghiyev, Chairman of the Public Union for the Development of Relations Among Turkic Elders Sudeyf Imamverdiyev, YAP Board Member and Member of Parliament Anar Isgandarov, Rector of Baku Slavic University Anar Nagiyev, YAP Board Member and Member of Parliament Parvin Karimzade, as well as Members of Parliament Vuqar Rahimzade, Hikmat Babayev and Rovshan Muradov delivered speeches at the event.

Speakers highlighted Heydar Aliyev’s life path and his exceptional services to the Azerbaijani people, emphasizing his significant role in the history of statehood, as well as the wide-scale social and economic reforms carried out for the development of the country and the well-being of its citizens. His contribution to the advancement of diplomacy, culture and science was also noted.

As part of the event, a presentation of the book “The Philosophy of a Life Exemplary to Humanity”, co-authored by UFAZ Executive Director, Associate Professor Vazeh Asgarov, and Yashar Ahmadov, and published with the support of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, was held. The book provides a comprehensive overview of Haydar Aliyev’s role in strengthening Azerbaijani statehood, improving public welfare, and laying the foundations for the country’s successful future.

Furthermore, the publication reflects the National Leader’s policies in education, science, culture, energy and defense, his efforts in preserving national and moral values, and his unwavering dedication to shaping Azerbaijan as a strong and independent state. Readers of the book can observe the depth of Haydar Aliyev’s visionary leadership and enduring service to his nation.
