Official Meeting on the Development Prospects of UFAZ Held in Paris

Dr. Vazeh Asgarov, Executive Director of the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ), held a meeting in Paris with representatives from France’s diplomatic and higher education sectors.

The meeting was attended by Donato Giorgi, Director for Europe and International Relations at the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Space Affairs; Marion Lindenlaub, responsible for bilateral relations with European countries at the same ministry; and Éléonore Garnier, Policy Advisor at the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.

The parties exchanged detailed views on UFAZ’s current activities, ongoing academic and research programs, student and faculty exchange opportunities, and the university’s development prospects.

The meeting once again highlighted the high value placed on Azerbaijan-France academic and scientific cooperation and opened new opportunities to strengthen UFAZ’s position in the international higher education landscape.

Participants considered the meeting an important milestone in UFAZ’s development strategy and expressed their readiness to support the implementation of larger-scale joint projects in the future.
