The 10th UFAZ Entrance Exam Was Held!

On July 29, UFAZ held its 10th entrance exam for the bachelor’s level. Compared to previous years, a record number of 627 candidates applied to participate in the exam. Among them, 553 candidates were eligible to sit for the exam. The average score of the exam participants, based on their State Examination Center (SEC) results, was 553.54. The highest score among the candidates was 681, while the lowest was 450.

Out of the exam takers, 182 were female and 279 were male. A total of 330 candidates took the exam in Azerbaijani, while 131 took it in Russian.

During the exam, the Rector of Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry, Associate Professor Rufat Azizov, observed the process and met with the parents waiting for their children. To support the organization of this year’s UFAZ exams, Professor Christophe Serra, Head of the Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Research Department at the University of Strasbourg and Coordinator of UFAZ Master’s Programs, is currently visiting Baku.

For the 2025-2026 academic year, UFAZ plans to admit a total of 190 students to the bachelor’s level on a state-funded basis across 5 specialties. The results of the internal entrance exam will be announced to the public on July 31.
