UFAZ Alumnus Baylar Zarbaliyev Earned His PhD Degree under the Cotutelle Program

Baylar Zarbaliyev, an alumnus of the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ), has successfully completed his doctoral studies under the Cotutelle program between the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) and the University of Strasbourg (Unistra), earning a PhD degree in Chemistry.

Beylar Zarbaliyev defended his dissertation on “Development of multifunctional hydrogels based on zeolite/biopolymer composites for the treatment of chronic wounds” at the University of Strasbourg (Unistra) under the supervision of Dr. Benoît Louis, Dr. Gaëtan Lutzweiler, and Dr. Narmina Guliyeva.

During his doctoral studies, the young scientist published 2 research articles in international peer-reviewed journals. For his scientific work presented at international conferences, he was awarded the “Best Poster” and “Best Oral Presentation” prizes.
