UFAZ Student Participated in Bootcamp Held in Zangilan

A Bootcamp was organized in the village of Aghali in the Zangilan region by the Agricultural Innovations Center. The event, held within the framework of the project “Application of Artificial Intelligence in Precision Agriculture,” aimed to promote the use of new technologies and innovative solutions in the agricultural sector.
Among the representatives from various higher education institutions, the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) was proudly represented by Farida Orujova, a second-year undergraduate student majoring in Computer Science. She took part in exploring the use of smart technologies, drones, and artificial intelligence in agriculture in Azerbaijan’s liberated territories.
As part of the event, participants had the opportunity to enhance their practical skills in precision agriculture and exchange experiences with local experts. Another highlight of the Bootcamp was the organization of an info tour for students to several private farms in the Zangilan region.
Participants also had the chance to attend the Agribusiness Festival held in Karabakh. Young students and researchers got acquainted with various startup projects and held discussions with representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture. Farida Orujova used this unique opportunity to further develop her ideas on applying artificial intelligence in agriculture.
