Student Council
The Student Council is a governing body that represents the interests and rights of students within the university, conveys their proposals and expectations to the administration, and initiates activities aimed at enhancing student life.
The Council is composed of a President, a Vice President, one representative from each academic program, and a student representing first-year students.
As a student governance body, the Council fosters an active university environment, highlights the student perspective in decision-making processes, and promotes social responsibility and volunteerism.
The main responsibilities of this body include:
- Defining the roles and responsibilities of Council members;
- Organizing fair and transparent elections each year to appoint the Council leadership;
- Hosting events to strengthen communication among students across all years and academic programs;
- Promoting the UFAZ student experience through various clubs and extracurricular activities;
- Supporting the development of students’ personal, leadership, and organizational skills;
- Providing career support by engaging company representatives and industry professionals in UFAZ activities;
- Contributing to effective communication between students, academic staff, and university administration;
- Representing students’ rights before the UFAZ management.
