A Research Seminar Titled ‘Exploring Novel Thiourea Derivatives: Computational and Experimental Perspectives’ Will Be Held at UFAZ

Tahir Javadzade, chemistry teacher at the Khazar University and lecturer at Baku State University for master's degree, will hold a research seminar at UFAZ on March 13. The seminar, titled ‘Exploring Novel Thiourea Derivatives: Computational and Experimental Perspectives’ will take place at 16:15 in room 102.

Tahir Javadzade’s main scientific research focus is synthesis of the bioactive compounds, studying their structural and theoretical parameters by quantum chemical calculations. He is also working on new methods for spectrophotometric determination of some transition elements. He recently got certificate of the authorship of an invention for new method for the detection of silver. Recently Tahir Javadzade is working on one of the most emerging problems of our country: finding the best synthetic and natural sorbents for the removal of heavy metals from oil production polluted waters.
