An event was held at ASOIU to mark the beginning of the new academic year

An event was held at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) to mark the beginning of the new academic year. The acting rector of ASOIU, Associate Professor Vazeih Asgarov, opened the event with a speech, wishing success to the university community, students, and faculty for the new academic year.

During the event, gifts were presented to the students who achieved the highest scores across all majors. Nijat Abdullazade, Tamara Hasanova, Muhammad Javadzade, and Nilufar Ilyasli, who scored the highest marks in the State Examination Center’s entrance exam for undergraduate and graduate level programs of the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ), were also awarded. Latifa Nasibova, the acting executive director of UFAZ, presented the gifts to the students and wished them success. The event concluded with a group photo.
