The Electronic Security Service Conducted a Training Session for ASOIU and UFAZ Students in Celebration of Girls in ICT Day

A special training session dedicated to Girls in ICT Day was organized by the Electronic Security Service under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The purpose of the training was to enhance female students’ knowledge in information technology and cybersecurity, inform them about career opportunities in these fields, and stimulate their interest in pursuing careers in the industry.
During the session, cybersecurity specialist Fatima Zulfigarli delivered a presentation on “Real Experiences in Cybersecurity and Professional Development.” She provided detailed insights into practical cases encountered in the cybersecurity field, current threats, and pathways for professional growth. Drawing from her personal experiences, she delivered both an inspiring and informative presentation, motivating students while sharing valuable industry knowledge. The training was conducted in an interactive format, allowing participants to actively engage in discussions and take part in a Q&A session.
A total of 34 female students from the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) and the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) took part in the session, which played a significant role in building their foundational knowledge of cybersecurity.
At the end of the training, all participants were awarded certificates by the Electronic Security Service. This initiative is regarded as an important step toward encouraging female students to explore opportunities in technology and cybersecurity.
