UFAZ Alumna Dilbar Aliyeva Highlights Aviation Sustainability at COP29 Azerbaijan

UFAZ alumna and Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Nexus Lab, Dilbar Aliyeva, made a significant contribution to COP29 Azerbaijan. Speaking at the Silk Way West Airlines stand, she participated in a panel discussion titled "From Contrails to Climate Action: Mitigating Aviation’s Hidden Impact with Nexus Lab."

During the session, Dilbar Aliyeva shed light on the phenomenon of contrails—ice crystal formations created by aircraft that contribute to climate change by trapping heat in the atmosphere. She elaborated on their environmental impact, the global efforts to mitigate this issue, and Nexus Lab’s innovative solutions designed to help airlines transition toward a greener industry.

This panel discussion was held in partnership with Silk Way West Airlines, emphasizing the aviation industry’s evolving commitment to sustainability. The session explored forward-thinking strategies and the pivotal role of emerging technologies in combating the sector’s environmental footprint.
