For the 2024/2025 academic year, it is planned that 190 students will receive state-funded education at the bachelor's level in five specialties at UFAZ. The acting rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, Vazeh Asgarov, the acting Executive Director of UFAZ, Latifa Nasibova, and other representatives observed the examination process and familiarized themselves with the conditions created for the applicants. Additionally, there was a meeting between the rector and the parents of the candidates. The acting rector of ASOIU, Vazeh Asgarov, wished all the candidates success and stated that UFAZ has always been one of the higher education institutions distinguished by its high level of education in the country and that obtaining dual diplomas from two countries will open great opportunities for every student.

During the two-and-a-half-hour exam, applicants answered ten test questions each from the blocks of mathematics, chemistry, physics, and general knowledge, according to the teaching languages in the general education level (Azerbaijani or Russian), and they wrote a grammar exercise and an essay in English.

It should be noted that starting from this year, UFAZ also offers an undergraduate program in Chemistry in addition to Geophysical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, and Oil and Gas Engineering programs. At the end of the four-year education period, UFAZ graduates will receive dual diplomas (from Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University and either Strasbourg University or Rennes University).
