UFAZ Faculty Members Conduct Research Visit to France
Dr. Yusif Ibrahimov and Dr. Ali Khudiyev, faculty members of the Computer Science programme at the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ), have conducted a research visit to Strasbourg, France.
The primary objective of the visit was to expand opportunities for international scientific collaboration within the framework of the Artificial Intelligence Institute planned to be established at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), discuss joint research directions, build partnerships for student supervision, and initiate preliminary activities for future collaborative projects.
During the visit, the delegation toured leading engineering schools and research centres in Strasbourg, including INSA Strasbourg, the ICube research laboratory, and ICAM Strasbourg. Meetings focused on prospects for collaboration in artificial intelligence, digital technologies, and applied research, as well as innovative research ecosystems based on university–industry partnerships.
The UFAZ faculty members also held meetings with researchers from partner universities to discuss future joint research projects, researcher and student exchange opportunities, and co-supervision initiatives. These discussions contributed to the development of new research ideas and laid a solid foundation for future collaboration.
