UFAZ Students in the Water Resources and Management Program Awarded Scholarships by ASWRA

A meeting was held at the State Water Resources Agency of Azerbaijan with a delegation from the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) led by Rector Rufat Azizov.

Chairman of the State Water Resources Agency, Zaur Mikayilov, welcomed the guests and expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation with ASOIU, emphasizing his confidence that this partnership would yield successful results.

Rector of ASOIU, Associate Professor Rufat Azizov, in his remarks wished the students success and emphasized that the master’s curriculum was designed in line with the standards of Europe’s leading universities, with the active participation of both local and international lecturers. He also underlined that modern laboratory facilities meeting current requirements will be made available to the students and that field practices will be organized to further strengthen their professional skills.

It should be noted that this year, for the first time, 10 students admitted to the master’s program in Water Resources and Management at the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) will be awarded scholarships by the Agency.
