UFAZ students participated in zero-gravity flight

On August 24, UFAZ students participated in zero-gravity parabolic flight in weightlessness, as well as Moon and Mars gravity flights on board of Air Zero G airplane of the French National Center for Space Studies.
Omar Nuruzada, Gular Ismayilova, Sanan Chaharkama, Araz Shafiyev and Emin Khalifayev were qualified for this flight as the winners of ActInSpace international space hackathon.
After the flight, the students shared their impressions with us.
Omar Nuruzada: "It was very interesting. We felt the cosmos without actually going into space. It's a feeling that's very hard to put into words. But one has to experience this moment in person. It was very exciting. It was highly unexpected. My favourite part was flying in lunar gravity."
Emin Khalifayev: "We had the chance to experience Mars, the Moon, zero gravity, and weightlessness. The most intense feeling was when we realized our feet were off the ground and floating in the air. You can make crazy moves, like walking on the walls, standing on the ceiling, and even flying. About 5-6 hours after the flight, I still feel a bit sleepy and tired, but it was worth it."
