UFAZ’s Nexora Team Won First Place at the IDDA Hackathon!

The Nexora team, representing the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ), secured first place at the IDDA Hackathon organized by the Innovation and Digital Development Agency.

This 48-hour fintech innovation marathon brought together students, entrepreneurs, and technology enthusiasts to address real financial challenges and develop practical, forward-thinking solutions. The event played a key role in shaping the next wave of fintech startups in Azerbaijan by fostering an ecosystem where creative ideas can evolve into impactful products. It also helped identify high-potential young talent and provided a testing ground for innovative concepts.

Throughout the intensive competition, UFAZ students showcased exceptional creativity, problem-solving ability, testing skills, and adaptability. The Nexora team – Fidan Allahverdiyeva, Nazrin Aliyeva, Asiman Ismayilova, and Samra Abdullayeva – distinguished themselves with their strong performance and claimed the top spot.

The top three teams earned direct entry into the IDDA Incubation Program, where they will receive structured support, mentorship, and resources to further develop their solutions.
