Ecological Symposium on Climate Change

On September 26 at 16:00, UFAZ will host an Ecological Symposium with the theme "Exploring Sustainable Solutions for the Climate Change Problem." The event, to be held in Room 102, aims to bring together a diverse audience, including environmental experts, students, media representatives, faculty members, industry professionals, and members of the public passionate about environmental sustainability.

The symposium’s key objectives are to raise awareness of critical environmental issues, foster dialogue between experts and the community on sustainable practices, and explore actionable solutions that can be implemented both locally and globally. Additionally, the event will draw attention to ongoing environmental challenges and express support for the upcoming COP29 conference, which will take place in Azerbaijan.

The program will feature a panel discussion covering four essential topics:

• Climate Change and Its Impact on the Environment
• Sustainable Development: SDG 7 and SDG 13
• Environmentally Friendly Waste Management Systems and Technologies
• Vocational Education: Green Skills

By encouraging meaningful dialogue and collaboration, the symposium seeks to inspire both individual and collective actions toward building a more sustainable future.
