About event
A research seminar titled "Advanced Materials for Environmental Sustainability" will be held on September 24. This seminar will feature presentations by two distinguished researchers from UFAZ, who will share their insights into innovative materials aimed at tackling environmental challenges.
Shabnam Feyziyeva will present on "Selective Capture of CO2 and Its Further Conversion Catalyzed by Zeolites and Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs)." Currently a PhD student at the University of Strasbourg, Shabnam graduated from UFAZ in 2023 with a Master's degree in Physical Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. Her research focuses on the synthesis and characterization of advanced materials for adsorption processes and catalytic applications.
Narinj Taghiyeva will discuss "Graphene Oxide-Based Composites for the Removal of Pesticide Contaminants from Water." Narinj completed her Bachelor's degree at Qafqaz University and her Master's degree at ASOIU. She is currently pursuing a joint doctoral program (cotutelle) at ASOIU and the University of Strasbourg (Unistra). Her research centers on CO2 capture and conversion using advanced catalytic materials.
This seminar offers a unique opportunity to explore the latest advancements in materials science and how they can contribute to a more sustainable future.
